I see some guides, they involve cutting bits of the seat to expose the screws/bolts to take out the seat etc. but I can see on the mk 2.5 where the seat hinges on the side of the car, looks like it should lift out, but there is obviously a trick to this.
1. There is one torx screw in the alcove behind the door latch. You need to pop off a little screw cap to see it. Remove that and extract the screw. 2. The bezel around the door latch and switches is held on with pressure clips. Work your fingers into the front edge of it and pull gently, working your way back as the clips come undone.

Posted October 5, 2010. Hi, I usually live in the Fiesta forum, but I've wandered across to ask for your help to help a damsel in distress. My lady friend has a 2005 Focus Mk.2 Estate. Her rear wiper motor has packed up. I've sourced a replacement for just under 70% less than Ford's RRP. All I have to do is fit it for her.
Too many people drive around at dusk, or in town at night with just front DRL's on totally ignorant of the fact that they have no rear lights on at all. There are a few manufacturers sorting this out, like Land Rover fo instance. I see that their newer models have rear lights always on with ignition.
