I have just obtained a 04 plate 2.0 LX mondeo. It seems to have a problem with first and reverse which somehow I didn't notice on a test drive or on day 1 of owning it. The problem is that it is difficult to select first or reverse gears while the car is stationary. I can push it into gear if i push really hard or i can put it in 2nd or 4th and The genuine Torque Converter transmission has none of these problems. Also it’s not a good idea to tow anything and you will need a spare £5500 in your account for a new box eventually. I wouldn’t buy ANYTHING with powershift.
